3. Abuse testing

H.E.L사의 Adiabatic Battery Calorimeters는 18650 배터리부터 큰 사이즈의 파우치 셀 또는 그 이상의 배터리 팩까지 측정 가능하며 과충전, 과열 조건에서도 배터리 성능 실험 및 안정성 테스트가 가능하다.

4. Thermal stability

과충전, 단선, 외부의 열로 인하여 리튬이온 배터리 자체에서 열이 발생하게 된다. 이때 배터리 내부의 전해액과 전극에서 여러 번의 흡열과 발열반응이 일어나게 된다.
C80 calorimeter의 고압 Stainless Vessel은 흔히 사용되는 다양한 유기용매와 전해액의 열적 안정성을 연구하는 목적으로 사용이 가능하다. 또한 관련된 Kinetic Process를 분석하는 목적으로도 사용 가능하다.
